Daivame! = O God! / Supreme Soul!
Angu = You / Thy Almighty
Nhangale = Us / Thy children
Kaividath = Without forsaking / Without abandoning
Inggu = Here (in this worldly life)
Kaathukolga = Protect / Guard us.
Bhava-abdhikku = For the ocean of worldly existence (the cycle of birth and death).
Nee = You alone
Naavikan = The Helmsman / Navigator / Captain of the ship.
Nin-padham = Thy holy feet (taking refuge in You).
Oru-aavi-vanthoni = A great steamship (a secure vessel to cross the mighty ocean).
"O God! Please protect us here without ever forsaking us. You are the supreme Helmsman navigating us through this turbulent ocean of worldly existence (births and deaths). Your holy feet are the ultimate, secure steamship that enables us to cross this mighty ocean safely."
ഒന്നൊന്നായെണ്ണിയെണ്ണിത്തൊ-

നിന്നിടും ദൃക്കുപോലുള്ളം
നിന്നിലസ്പന്ദമാകണം. 2
Onnonnaayennhiyennhitthot-
Thennhum Porulodungiyaal
Ninnidum Dhrikkupolullam
Ninnilasphandamaakanam.
Onnonnaayi = One by one / Each and every object of the world.
Ennhiyennhi thottu = Counting and perceiving individually, distinguishing one from another.
Ennhum porul = The objects that are being counted or perceived (worldly things/thoughts).
Odungiyaal = When they come to an end / When they dissolve or disappear.
Ninnidum dhrikku-pol = Like the gaze of the eye that stands still when there is nothing else left to see.
Ullam = Our mind / Inner self.
Ninnil = In You (the Supreme Lord).
Asphandamaakanam = Must become absolutely motionless / Unmoving and still.
"By counting and perceiving the objects of the external world one by one, when all those perceivable objects finally dissolve and come to an end, the gaze of the observer becomes still with nothing else left to see. In the very same manner, may our mind, stripped of all other thoughts, merge in You and become completely motionless and still."

Annavasthraadhi Mutthaathe

Dhanyaraakkunna Neeyonnu-
Thanne Nhangalkku Thamburaan.
Annavasthraadhi = Food (Annam), clothing (Vasthram), and other basic necessities of life.
Mutthaathe = Without any shortage / Without interruption (unfailingly).
Thannu = By providing / By giving.
Rakshicchu = Protected / Sustained.
Nhangale = Us / Thy children.
Dhanyaraakkunna = Making us blessed / Satisfied and fulfilled.
Neeyonnu-thanne = You alone / You and no one else.
Nhangalkku thamburaan = Our true Lord / Master / Sovereign Ruler.
"By unfailingly providing us with food, clothing, and all other basic necessities of life, You sustain and protect us, making our lives blessed and fulfilled. You, and You alone, are our supreme Lord and true Master."
ആഴിയും തിരയും കാറ്റു-

മായയും നിൻ മഹിമയും

Aazhiyum Thirayum Kaatthu-
Maazhavumpole Nhangalum
Maayayum Nin Mahimayum
Neeyumennullilaakanam.
Aazhiyum = The ocean (sea).
Thirayum = The waves (arising in it).
Kaattum = The wind (that causes the waves).
Aazhavum pole = And the depth (of the ocean), just as they are all one and the same (water)...
Nhangalum = We too (the individual souls / Jivatmas).
Maayayum = The cosmic illusion (Maya / worldly phenomena).
Nin mahimayum = Thy divine glory (power / manifestation).
Neeyum = And You (the Supreme Soul / Paramatma).
Enn-ullilaakanam = Must become one within my inner consciousness (realization).
"Just as the ocean, the waves, the wind, and the ocean's depth may seem distinct but are fundamentally one single essence (water); in the same manner, may we, this cosmic illusion (Maya), Your divine glory, and You Yourself be realized as one indivisible whole within my inner consciousness."

Neeyallo Srishtiyum Srashtaa-
Vaayathum Srishtijaalavum
Neeyallo Daivame, Srishti-
Kkulla Saamagriyaayathum.
Neeyallo = You alone are.
Srishtiyum = The creation (the manifested universe).
Srashtaavu aayathum = The Creator (God).
Srishtijaalavum = The multitude of created beings (all living things like humans, animals, and plants).
Neeyallo Daivame = O God, You alone are.
Srishtikkulla = For the purpose of creation.
Saamagri aayathum = The raw materials (the elements and instruments required).
"O God! You alone are the creation, the Creator, and the entire multitude of created beings. Furthermore, You alone are the very raw materials and instruments required for this creation to exist."

വിയും മായാവിനോദനും
നീയല്ലോ മായയെ നീക്കി -
സ്സായുജ്യം നൽകുമാര്യനും. 6
Neeyallo Maayayum Maayaa-
Viyum Maayaavinodhanum
Neeyallo Maayaye Neekki -
Ssaayujyam Nalkumaaryanum.
Neeyallo Maayayum = You alone are the illusion (Maya / the cosmic delusion that makes the unreal appear real).
Maayaviyum = The Magician (the wielder of Maya) who creates and controls this illusion.
Maayavinodhanum = The one who enjoys the sport or play (Leela) through this illusion.
Neeyallo = You alone are.
Maayaye neekki = Dispelling or removing that illusion (ignorance).
Saayujyam nalkum = The one who grants liberation (the state of merging and becoming one with God).
Aaryanum = The noble Preceptor / Supreme Guru.
"O God! You alone are the illusion (Maya), the Magician who wields it, and the Playmaker who delights in its cosmic sport. You alone are also the noble Supreme Guru who dispels this very illusion and grants us the ultimate liberation (Sayujyam) of merging into oneness with You."

Nee Sathyam Jnjaanamaanandham
Neethanne Varthamaanavum
Bhoothavum Bhaaviyum Vhera-
Llothum Mozhiyumorkkil Nee.
Nee Sathyam = You are the unchanging, supreme Truth (Sat).
Jnjaanam = You are the pure, all-knowing Knowledge (Chit).
Aanandham = You are the absolute Bliss (Ananda).
Neethanne varthamaanavum = You alone are the present time as well.
Bhoothavum bhaaviyum = The past and the future too are You.
Vheralla = They are not separate or distinct (from You).
Othum mozhiyum = Even every spoken word and sound...
Orkkil nee = If thought deeply, is You alone.
"O God! You are the absolute Truth, pure Knowledge, and supreme Bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda). When pondered deeply, the present, the past, and the future are not separate from You; indeed, even every spoken word uttered in this universe is nothing but You."

Akavum Puravum Thingum

Pukazhthunnu Nhangalangu
Bhagavaane, Jayikkuka.
Akavum puravum = Inside and outside (of this universe, as well as within and without our minds).
Thingum = Densely filled / Permeating everywhere.
Mahimaavaarnna = Glorious / Full of divine grandeur.
Nin padham = Thy supreme state / Thy holy feet.
Pukazhthunnu = Praise and glorify.
Nhangal = We (Thy humble devotees).
Angu Bhagavaane = You, O Lord Supreme! (the repository of all divine opulences).
Jayikkuka = May You be victorious! / May Your light shine triumphantly forever.
"O Lord Supreme! We humbly praise and glorify Your infinitely glorious state that fully permeates both the inside and the outside of this entire universe, as well as our inner minds. O Almighty, may You reign supreme and shine victoriously within us forever!"

Jayikkuka = May You be victorious! / May Your divine light shine triumphantly forever.
Mahaadeva = O Supreme Lord! / O Sovereign Divine Light!
Deena-avana-paraayana = O Savior of the distressed! (Deena = the afflicted/poor; Avana = protecting; Paraayana = one who is solely dedicated to/intent upon).
Chith-aanandha = O Embodiment of Pure Consciousness and Bliss! (Chit = pure awareness; Ananda = absolute joy).
Dhayaasindho = O Ocean of Mercy and Compassion!
"May You reign supreme and be victorious, O Almighty Lord! Hail to You, who are solely dedicated to protecting the afflicted and the distressed. May You be victorious, O Embodiment of Pure Consciousness and Bliss! Victory unto You, O Ocean of boundless Mercy and Compassion!"

Aazhamerum Nin Mahassaa-
Maazhiyil Nhangalaakave
Aazhanam Vaazhanam Nithyam
Vaazhanam Vaazhanam Sukham.
Aazhamerum = Deep and fathomless (infinite).
Nin mahassu aam = Which is Your divine effulgence (the ocean of Your supreme light).
Aazhiyil = In that grand ocean.
Nhangal aakave = All of us completely / in our entirety.
Aazhanam = Must immerse deeply (dissolving our individual ego).
Vaazhanam = Must dwell / reside there.
Nithyam = Eternally / forever (beyond time).
Vaazhanam vaazhanam sukham = May absolute bliss and peace alone reign supreme everywhere for all time.
"In the fathomless and infinite ocean of Your divine effulgence, may we all immerse ourselves completely, dissolving our individual egos. May we eternally dwell in that supreme oneness, and let absolute, boundless bliss alone reign supreme forever."
